About Me

Hiya! You probably already know this but my name is Rahmat :)

I have been designing for as long as I can remember ; while I first started designing out of curiosity , I now design for impact ( and also curiosity ).

‍As a BIPOC designer, I am particularly passionate about creating systems that are impactful and have the capability to create change within underserved communities. I am interested in new and emerging technologies and understanding how they can shape design. I love working with interdisciplinary teams and learning from them through collaborative research and design.

As a creative by nature, I spend my free times doing things that involve creating.

Reading, Writing and Everything in Between !

Started a Seattle based bookclub with 2 friends. Now we have grown it to a club of more than 10+ people!

Traveling!

I love the art of experiencing. In 2024, I decided to intentionally travel ( on a budget of course ) so I could immerse myself in new food, culture and ways of living.  Traveling has been a huge source of motivation for me thus far.
